COVID-19 UPDATE

  • What happens if the event is postponed due to lockdown?

    Registered attendees for events that are postponed due to COVID-19 by the state or local health authorities are automatically transferred to the rescheduled date. For those that the new date does not work, we will allow deferrals to the event in the following year.

  • EVENT INFORMATION

    We have incorporated the below measures to make the event safe as possible for all involved.

    • All participants to use the Service Victoria app to scan Kodi’s Paw-a-Thon QR code.
    • As per current government guidelines on fask masks, when out in public, you are required to carry a fask mask and it is recommended that you wear a face mask when you cannot maintain a 1.5 metre distance from others.
    • When traveling via public transport, register Myki card in order to assist with contact tracing.

    You will still be able to enjoy the entertainment as well as self-serve drink stations supported by our Volunteers. As well as the Kodi’s Paw-a-Thon post run recovery area.

RACE

  • Can I have my race pack posted to me?
    • Race pack postage ends 11:59pm, October 10th, 2022.
    • Optional race pack postage fee of $3.00, or free collection from the event site on event day.
  • Are there any participant Instructions?

    Pre – Race booklet will be available October 20th, 2022.

  • How do I get to the event?

    We strongly recommend catching public transport to and from the event.

  • I’d like to volunteer – where do I go for more info?

  • Can I run with headphones?

    We strongly discourage the use of headphones on the course. If you do choose to use headphones while running, please ensure that you are still able to hear what is happening around you.

  • Can I have a supporter ride a bike next to me?

    No personal support riders or bike riders within the vicinity of runners are permitted on course. It is the responsibility of each athlete while running to ensure that no bikes are on the course near the runners.

  • Can I fly a personal drone on course?

    The use of any type of drone or unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is prohibited at the Event.

  • Can I run with a pram?

    Prams are permitted in all events – please start at the back of pack for safety reasons.

  • Can I run as a support person for someone who needs assistance?

    If you are running to lend a helping hand to someone who is unable to run without you, then please contact Kodi’s Paw-a-Thon at kodi@petfriendlyfunrun.com

  • Can I run with my dog?

    Yes, only in the 5Km Pet Friendly Event & the Doggie Dash

REGISTRATION

  • How do I upgrade/downgrade my race?

    Event upgrades/downgrades can be made up until the Friday prior to the event. Refunds cannot be issued for the difference in entry fee (if any) when downgrading your distance. Please email woof@petfriendlyfunrun.com

  • Can I register at the event?

    You can register on race day, however a late entry fee applies

  • I have lost or never received my confirmation email, can I have it resent?

    Please ensure you have checked your junk/spam folder for your confirmation email. If you can still not locate it, please email woof@petfriendlyfunrun.com

  • I’m having trouble entering the race– what do I do?

  • I am under 18. Are there any age restrictions?
    • All participants under the age of 18 must have the consent of their parent or guardian.
    • Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult, who is responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the child.

RESULTS

  • How will I be timed on day?
    • All runners in the 15KM, the 10Km and 5Km races will be timed. If you wish to receive a finishing time, all participants must wear their RACE BIB. Your Race Bib contains a disposable timing chip, if you don’t wear your bib, you won’t receive an official time.
    • Please wear your race bib on the front of your top and ensure it is visible.
  • Where can I find my results?

    Results will be available online from www.petfriendlyfunrun.com
